Let’s recall our students’ activism: exhibition of posters

The community of the Kyiv-Mohyla Academy has always taken an active position in Ukrainian society. Our students and alumni took part in every social and political change that took place in Ukraine. We always stood strong for a free, independent, democratic  Ukraine – the Orange Revolution, the Maidan Revolution of Dignity, and now in the russian war against Ukraine. We always stood for a Ukraine where values, dignity and human rights are respected. On the 4th of February, students arranged an exhibition of posters from peaceful demonstrations, which the community of the Kyiv-Mohyla Family attended. Let’s dive into the atmosphere of student life and activism!

Hand-made posters from cardboard boxes with written lyrics from songs, poems and jokes have become a symbol of unity that helps our spirits up and helps to develop our country! At the end of the exhibition, the student organization KMA Help organized a charity auction, where two posters were sold to raise funds for buying a drone for one of Kyiv-Mohyla Academy’s students, who is defending Ukraine on the frontline now.

We are always united by our spirit of freedom and justice. Слава Україні! Героям Слава! Glory to Ukraine! Glory to the Heroes!
